Why I Built AOS

20 Years in supplier development. A good title. A good salary. And the same scene in every company I walked into.

An owner who built everything himself, and could not leave the building for 2 days.

I audited. I trained. I wrote systems. And I watched every one of them stop the moment nobody was standing there to watch.

Then I walked into a company in Hosur. Dust everywhere. Scrap piled up. The owner working 16 hours a day. Revenue stuck at ₹1.1 crore for years, and no time to do anything about it.

We did not start with the machines. We started with the people. Behaviour first. Then small corrections in business & operations. Then the environment, the welfare, the facilities, all with very small money.

The environment changed. The culture changed. The owner stopped running the day. And in 1 year that business went from ₹1.1 crore to ₹5.6 crore.

When the first Kanchi Cotton Saree sold, I was the only one selling it. It was lonely. It was also the proudest I had ever felt.

It's been successful for 6 years now and I sell Kanchi Cotton, Kanchipuram Silk, Silk Cotton, Ikkat, Gadwal, Narayanpet Sarees, all types of imitation jewellery, home-made organic products — all through RESELLERS only.
